Hi and welcome to my website...
This is version 4 of my website, and yes, four years on and I still haven’t gone off pink! Below you can see previous incarnations of the website.
The site was originally created in August 2003 as a one year anniversary present from my then boyfriend, now husband, Matt.
Why Ordinary Girl?
Well why not? Actually there is a point to all of this. The name comes from the song 'Ordinary Girl', which is sung by one of Steve Coogans alter egos Tony Ferrino. It’s funny, Matt used to sing it to me...wait, that’s not so funny! You can watch the video of the song on the right, or download the MP3.
So what’s it all about?
This site is all about keeping my friends and family updated. It's definitely easier to share my holiday snaps online, instead of traipsing around with photographs. I also hope that people I may have lost contact with will stumble across my site and get back in touch. And yes...this website was created well before the whole Myspace/Facebook frenzy began, so ha!
If you've arrived here by accident, then my name is Sarah Blank (previously Sarah Leighter) and to learn a bit about me have a look around this site. There's information about what I've been up to since I graduated from uni in 2003 as well as loads of photos taken over the last few years, including holiday snaps and my wedding!
Keep an eye out for updates and send any silly photos my way.
Have fun!
