Career at a glance
After completing my A-Levels in 2000, I went to Bristol, UWE to study psychology. Great city and great course! I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to uni. It is here that I got interested in mental health and so went on to work in a variety of NHS services as both an assistant and research psychologist. This was to build up my experiences as a potential clinical psychologist.

You can view photos of my graduations in my photo album.
What I did next...
I studied for my masters degree in child development at the Institute of Education, University of London and began applying for the doctorate that would qualify me as a clinical psychologist (which would mean I get to be Dr. Sarah!).
Where I am now...
I began training as a clinical psychologist in September 2006. It's a lot of hard work but I am really enjoying all the challenges that it brings.
I can't believe I'm doing a third degree!

Cyprus 2005
My dissertation for my bachelor's degree looked at intermarriage and Jewish university students. Not hugely psychological, but I was young!
For my masters I looked at adolescent adjustment and self-esteem and compared typically developing adolescents with those who had a history of specific language impairment.
